time well spent

one of our most treasured times are the times we spend praying together. we started doing this some time ago. before our evening is over, and he heads to his house and me to mine, we take some time to pray. we pray for each other, for our relationship, for family, for friends. yes, we pray out loud. i cannot tell you how this deepens our relationship, not only with each other but also with God. there is a bond growing there - stronger and stronger - as we pour out our hearts before God. if you are not already making this a regular practice, try it. we are learning that this prayer time is key to the success of our marriage.
