got a notice today from the owners of the trailer park outlining evacuation procedures if it floods out here. they are recommending removing valuables now to safer places and having stuff packed and ready to go if and when the evacuate the park. seems they will shut off all the services and we have to be ready to leave.
so, i am packing up the trailer (a good portion of it) and moving it back to where it came from (liz's house now). i figure if i start now i should have most of it moved before the flood. not worrying about the furniture - just clothes, books, keepsakes, china etc. pretty much the whole house......

wow. is the water really rising that much?
it might. they won't know until mid may. the notice said it could be a few inches or up to 7'.
