Persistence and Procrastination

God's persistence and my procrastination - why do I think I will win the tug of war???  I can't tell you how long God has been prodding me to start writing my blog again, and I can't tell you how long I've been trying to ignore that prodding.  Every day I have good intentions to start, and every day I find any number of reasons why not to.  So this morning I decided OK - this is the day.  But first I had to do the dishes, then I had to clean out a camping box (like that was urgent LOL), oh wait - I need to wash this blanket, and I'm pretty sure the toilets need cleaning.  Really?  I would rather clean toilets than do what God is asking me to do????
I'm not sure why I find this so difficult - perhaps its because its not something I am particularly comfortable doing.  Its a bit out of my comfort zone.  OK, a lot out of my comfort zone.  I've wrestled with God over and over with this and still He says DO IT!  I should know by now that He always wins, and that I won't have peace until I am obedient.  It really doesn't have anything to do with my ability to write a blog. It has everything to do with being obedient to what God is asking me to do.
God's persistence wins over my procrastination.
And so I begin......
